Studio One is excited to announce that Leland Melz has joined the Jefferson Dancers as an apprentice this year. Leland started taking classes Studio One in 2006 and has been a successful member of our performing team since 2007. Studio One has been fertile ground for Jefferson Dancers, as Leland follows in the footsteps of past Studio One dancers Corinne Craig and Taryn Jansen. Morgan Jansen made the JD II group.
Studio One is excited for Leland to have the opportunity to continue his study in a professional environment with a mission to develop “the whole student through artistic expression, technique, discipline, cultural awareness and community involvement provides a basis for success in all aspects of life as well as a foundation for further study in the arts.”
2011 Studio One Performing Team Production
Studio One Performing Team was nominated for best costuming and won outstanding achievement in song choice, editing and music at the 2011 Nationals held by Hollywood Connections.
